Artist Statement

The media I tend to work in is either clay or drawing, these are my favorite forms of media because with clay you can shape and form any three-dimensional pieces which really comes to life. I enjoy drawing because I'm more new to it than clay and I enjoy letting my mind go and drawing what comes to mind freely. The Artist I most look to and that connects with my art is Lydia Breckenridge she is a punk rock quilt designer and she makes outstanding artwork from quilts. I relate most to her because I also like to base my work off of punk rock and grunge mixed with a little bit of today's art. I am mainly inspired by music and specifically what I love to listen to. I base my work on how these songs make me feel and what they make me think of. I like to bring music to live and show the true meaning behind it.
