I most often work with just Pencils and ink my work is heavily inspired by american comic book styles, specifically the work of Ivan Reis. I constantly strive to replicate the amount of detail and action that he fits on a page in my own work. When I draw, my work is always in black and white, I am always thinking about how to make the image more clear and and how to make sure the viewer can instantly read the figures and know what is happening. I always want to try and fill the page with as much detail as possible, while still having the image be clear, to create a more dynamic image. I want my work to look bold and memorable, with a lot of energy and clear contrast between all the shapes and figures, like it is moving on the page, im still working on that.
