Artist Statement 

As an artist, I find inspiration within the world around me. I have traveled to many beautiful places and from this have gained an abundance of ideas. I also find inspiration in the current issues happening all around the world. I am a very opinionated person and I like to express my inner thoughts and feelings. One of the best ways I do this is by channeling them into my art work. In my portfolio, I have put together a few very important pieces of artwork that I would like to share with the world. 

I believe nature has a story. Each location has seen the warmth of the summer sunshine and the cold of the rain. The earth is so beautiful and it is very important to protect it. In my portfolio, you will see a couple images of sunsets over the ocean. These were taken in the summer time at Rockport Maine. They remind me of just how amazing our Earth is and motivates me to want to make a difference in the world. With the increase of pollution in the world, I feel that art is a powerful way to influence others. This is when I decided to paint Reforestation. This painting captivates the responsibility that humans have to give back to the earth and how it pays off in the end. I hope that my work inspires others and shows my intent of bringing attention to the vivacious world around us.
