I enjoy creating art centered around things that bring me joy, either people I love or animals. I base my paintings of animals on realistic references that I find on the internet, especially those that break the fourth wall and directly engage the viewer. The paintings featuring people I care about use photos that hold sentimental value to me usually taken during a special moment. Using these images, I then take creative license to make them fun and funky by using bright colors, lettering, and pop art-like designs.

I work with paint, especially gouache and acrylic which I find to dry quicker and be less blendable as I enjoy when paintings have a rougher edge to them and appear more graphic. After finishing painting works, I like using posca markers or Sharpies to add fun details. I want my art to be vibrant and eye-catching.
